Our Promise to Interns

At Healing Roots Therapy, we see interns as much more than students in training , you’re an important part of the care, for Affordable Therapy, we offer our community. We want you to feel supported, encouraged, and equipped as you grow into your professional identity.

During your placement, you’ll be surrounded by a team that values collaboration, curiosity, and openness. You’ll have the chance to learn from experienced supervisors, gain hands-on experience with diverse clients, and explore a variety of therapeutic approaches in practice.

We’ve built a thoughtful training and onboarding process to help you feel grounded, confident, and ready to take meaningful steps in your development. And while the focus is on learning, we also love when a placement grows into something more. If the fit feels right for both interns and our clinic, we’re always open to exploring ways interns might continue with Healing Roots Therapy beyond their practicum.

To learn more about our values and what they mean to us at Healing Roots Therapy, we invite you to visit our Values page.
