Bio At A Glance:

Danielle is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering in-person and virtual therapy services across Ontario. She provides compassionate, client-centered support for adults, teens and children navigating anxiety and other mood related issues, interpersonal  difficulties, and personal esteem related challenges. With a background in crisis intervention and exploration across multiple therapeutic modalities, Danielle brings both depth and flexibility to her work with clients.

Therapy is a transformative journey, but it can come with challenges. Finding a therapist whose approach and communication style aligns with your needs takes time. Sharing personal experiences and embracing vulnerability can feel intimidating. Stigma, self-doubt, and the slow nature of progress may also add to the difficulty. However, with consistency and commitment, therapy can foster true personal growth and resilience.

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is key to a successful treatment experience. Using a collaborative, client-centered approach, I focus on tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs, values, strengths, and goals. From there, we can explore various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and identify what resonates most with you and supports your healing journey.

My passion lies in supporting individuals by creating a safe and empowering environment for self-exploration. Whether you are a teen struggling with school stress, social anxiety, or self-esteem, or an adult navigating burnout, relationship challenges, or the effects of past experiences, I am here to help. I want to help clients recognize their strengths, develop skills to overcome challenges, stay committed to their goals, and build resilience to apply what they’ve learned in everyday life.

Answers to some frequently asked questions:

I work with teens and adults. I have experience supporting young people through school challenges, social anxiety, identity exploration, and family conflict, as well as adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

Yes. Anxiety and panic attacks are core areas of my practice. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help clients understand their anxiety, develop coping strategies, and gradually reduce the intensity and frequency of panic symptoms.

A client-centered approach means that therapy is shaped around your unique needs, values, and goals rather than following a rigid formula. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support, guide, and collaborate with you as we work together toward meaningful change.

Yes. I offer online and phone therapy for clients anywhere in Ontario. Virtual sessions provide flexibility for those with busy schedules or who feel more comfortable connecting from their own space.
