Bio At A Glance:

Grace is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Art Therapist offering in-person therapy in Mississauga and virtual therapy across Ontario. She provides compassionate, culturally responsive support for children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, and other emotional challenges. Grace also offers therapy in Korean for clients who prefer to work in their first language.

When life feels overwhelming, it can be hard to untangle what you’re thinking or feeling, let alone know where to begin. Therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you’re not sure how to explain what’s going on or if you’re worried you need to have it all figured out before starting.

I offer a space where there’s no pressure to say the “right” thing. Whether through talk therapy or art-based approaches, my goal is to meet you where you are. When words feel too heavy or tangled, art therapy can serve as another language, one that gently helps bring emotions, thoughts, and inner experiences into the open. You don’t need to be artistic or have any experience with art, just a willingness to explore.

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in deep listening, trust, and care. I work with individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults, adapting our work together to suit your needs best. Sometimes, that means using creative tools such as imagery, colour, metaphor, and more. Other times, it means simply talking things through. Either way, therapy with me is collaborative and flexible.

Over time, many clients describe feeling more grounded, more connected to themselves, and more able to understand their inner world. Whether you’re navigating emotional challenges, relationship dynamics, identity questions, or simply seeking space to pause and reflect, I’m here to work alongside you with steadiness and compassion.

Grace's Experience

Grace is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Art Therapist who completed her graduate-level diploma in Art Therapy at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute (TATI). She brings extensive experience working across a wide range of settings, including school boards, retirement homes, mental health agencies, and community organizations, supporting children, youth, neurodivergent individuals, parents, older adults, and families.

Through these varied experiences, Grace has learned to be adaptable and sensitive to each client’s unique pace and needs. She prioritizes meeting people where they are, rather than imposing her own insights or assumptions, and works collaboratively to help clients uncover what feels most meaningful and supportive to them.

Grace brings warmth, authenticity, humility, and compassion to her work. Her approach is deeply grounded in genuine connection, cultural responsiveness, and a respect for each person’s lived experience.

Not at all. Art therapy is not about creating beautiful artwork. It is about using creative expression as a tool for healing and self-discovery. No artistic skill or experience is required.

I work with children, teens, and adults. For younger children, I often incorporate play and art-based approaches. For teens and adults, I adapt my methods based on what feels most comfortable and effective for each person.
