Bio At A Glance:

Jonathan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering in-person therapy in Mississauga and virtual therapy across Ontario. He provides supportive, evidence-based care for adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, and burnout. Jonathan has a particular focus on men’s mental health, faith and spirituality, cultural identity, and the unique experiences of BIPOC individuals and immigrant communities.

We all face our own challenges. Whether it’s stress, overwhelm, anxiety, depression. Sometimes we feel like no one could ever understand what we are going through. Life can feel so heavy, and sometimes we just need a little extra support. That’s why my priority is to focus on the building a genuine, trusting, non-judgmental relationship where you can feel understood and supported. This relationship is the foundation for change and growth in therapy with my clients.

You don’t have to figure it out on your own. Together we can explore what’s been weighing on you, and what it might look like to move forward. I use evidence-based, holistic approaches to tailor our sessions to best fit your needs. Not only to help you get “back to normal,” but to help you excel.

I believe that meaningful changes come from feeling both challenged and supported. I help clients recognize their strengths and develop new skills to overcome life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. Establishing a safe environment and setting goals is only the beginning of the therapeutic process. My hope is that my clients walk away from therapy feeling resilient to the struggles that once held them back.

Life Outside of Sessions

I love spending time with my wife. She is very warm, caring, and gives me a sense of ease. At home, we make smoothies and watch shows on Netflix. Outside the home, you may find me out for a run on the track, followed by a bubble tea shop to cool off.

Answers to some frequently asked questions:

Yes. I have a particular focus on men’s mental health. Many men feel pressure to handle things on their own or struggle to find spaces where they can open up without judgment. I create an environment where men can explore their emotions, relationships, and challenges with support and understanding.

Faith-based therapy integrates spiritual beliefs and values into the therapeutic process for clients who want that support. Whether faith is central to your life or you are exploring questions of meaning and purpose, I can meet you where you are. Clients who do not wish to incorporate faith into their sessions are equally welcome.

Yes. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT-C), which helps partners understand their emotional responses, improve communication, and rebuild connection. Whether you are navigating conflict, a major transition, or simply want to strengthen your relationship, couples therapy can help.

Absolutely. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by work demands, struggling with boundaries, or questioning their career path. Together we can explore what is contributing to your stress and develop practical strategies to help you feel more balanced and confident.

Yes. I offer online and phone therapy for clients anywhere in Ontario. Virtual sessions provide flexibility for those with busy schedules or who prefer the comfort of their own space.
