Bio At A Glance:

Manal is a student therapist offering affordable therapy for teens and adults, with in-person sessions in Mississauga and virtual therapy across Ontario. She provides Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and challenges with emotional regulation. Manal also supports clients through life transitions, stress, burnout, and experiences that may feel overwhelming or difficult to navigate alone. Her approach is collaborative, culturally sensitive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Many of the teens and adults Manal works with seek support for overwhelming emotions, whether within themselves or in their relationships, along with anxiety and life transitions that can leave them feeling lost or unsure of how to move forward. She offers therapy for anxiety, emotional regulation, and life changes, supporting both teens and adults in making sense of their experiences and finding a way forward that feels manageable and aligned. For teens in particular, Manal creates space to explore emotions, identity, and the pressures that can come with school, relationships, and growing responsibilities.

Her approach is collaborative and client-centred, with a strong focus on each person’s individuality and sense of self. Manal prioritizes building understanding and connection first, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and able to show up as they are. From there, she works alongside clients, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help them recognize patterns, understand their thoughts and emotions, and begin developing strategies to navigate challenges.

Through this work together, clients can begin to develop new ways of regulating emotions, build practical coping strategies for life’s difficulties, and strengthen their sense of self. Over time, this process supports clients in feeling more grounded, more aware of their internal experiences, and more confident navigating challenges on their own.

Answers to some frequently asked questions:

Yes, I offer therapy for anxiety and social anxiety through in-person sessions in Mississauga and virtual therapy across Ontario. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, emotions, or social situations, and are unsure how to move forward. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help identify patterns in thinking and behaviour that may be contributing to anxiety. Together, we work on building practical strategies to manage these experiences in a way that feels manageable and supportive. My goal is to help you feel more grounded and confident navigating anxiety in your daily life.

I support teens and adults who are experiencing depression, overwhelming emotions, or difficulty regulating their feelings. It can feel confusing or heavy when emotions build up, especially during stressful periods or life transitions. I take a collaborative, client-centred approach, focusing on creating a space where you feel comfortable and understood. Using CBT, I help you explore your thoughts and emotional patterns while developing tools to better manage these experiences. Over time, this work can support you in feeling more in control and connected to yourself.

Yes, I offer teen therapy for a range of concerns, including stress, school challenges, and exploring identity. Many teens I work with are navigating pressures related to school, relationships, and growing responsibilities, which can feel overwhelming at times. I create a safe and supportive space where teens can explore their emotions and experiences without judgment. My approach is collaborative and tailored, helping teens better understand themselves and develop coping strategies that feel realistic for their daily lives. This process can support teens in building confidence and emotional awareness as they grow.

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which focuses on helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. I also draw from approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and motivational interviewing when it feels supportive for the client. My approach is flexible and tailored, meaning I adapt based on your needs, goals, and experiences. I prioritize building understanding and connection first, so that therapy feels like a safe and collaborative space. From there, we work together to develop practical strategies that support meaningful and lasting change.

Yes, I offer affordable therapy for both teens and adults, with in-person sessions available in Mississauga and virtual therapy across Ontario. I understand that accessing support is an important step, and I aim to make therapy feel approachable and accessible. My focus is on supporting clients through anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. I work collaboratively with you to create a plan that aligns with your goals and feels manageable. Therapy is a space where you can build skills, gain clarity, and feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.

In therapy, I support clients in developing a better understanding of their emotions and how they respond to different situations. Many people I work with feel unsure of how to manage intense emotions or find themselves stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. Using CBT and other supportive approaches, we explore these patterns and begin building practical coping strategies. This can include ways to regulate emotions, respond differently to stress, and strengthen your sense of self. Over time, clients often feel more aware, more grounded, and more confident handling challenges on their own.
