Life’s path is not always straightforward and navigating it can be overwhelming. Sometimes the way we relate to our thoughts, parts of ourselves, others, or our pasts can lead us to feeling stuck in life, out of control, and acting in ways that remove us from the connections and activities that give our lives meaning.
I use different approaches, or an integration of them, to best accommodate your needs and therapeutic goals. This may include exploring your past experiences, examining your relationships with others and yourself, and building skills which will aid you in healing and achieving your goals. I draw from modalities like Person Centred Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy to support clients in understanding themselves more deeply and creating meaningful change.
Though I am passionate in providing care to all individuals regardless of gender and identity, many of my clients are men who have found it difficult to open up in other settings or who prefer working with a male therapist. I understand the unique pressures men often face around expressing emotions, asking for help, and navigating expectations of masculinity. Whether you are processing grief, managing stress and burnout, working through relationship difficulties, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I am here to support you.
I strive to create a compassionate and psychologically safe environment, one free of judgement, where you can develop your ability to self-regulate and become your own therapist.
