Meredyth's Experience

 Meredyth (She/Her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, after completing her practicum at Healing Roots Therapy. In addition, Meredyth worked for 2.5 years as a Child and Youth Counsellor in an emergency shelter supporting women and children who have experienced Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner Violence. Meredyth has been volunteering with a Distress phone line, assisting people in the community with their mental health. Meredyth also holds an MA in Child Studies, and has experience working with children and youth in various settings including youth centres, preschools, daycares, community organizations, hospitals, schools and recreational programming. Meredyth looks forward to working with the Healing Roots community and connecting with her clients.

 

Life Outside Sessions

I really enjoy being out in nature, and exploring all the beauty it has to offer. My favourite outdoor activity is currently biking by the lake.
